Kuopio’s 250th anniversary called for a proper celebration. At Ahooy, I worked on the motion for the launch film, bringing the anniversary identity to life.
The playful build-ups bring different shapes together to make something new. It’s a simple idea drawn from the city itself: different people coming together, each adding something of their own.
I wanted the movement to feel full of life and invite people into the celebration. It’s a big birthday, so there was room to have some fun with it.
